The Brooklyn Tweed Yarn Fair starts on Tuesday the first week of November. Because Jared is coming to Kyoto, of course!

After the retreat, he will go to Kyoto and hold an autograph session at WALNUT for a while after sightseeing in Kyoto.
Limited to those who purchased the printed pattern of Brooklyn Tweed at WALNUT on the day, or those who have amirisu No. 4 BT feature which is no longer sold. (No. 4 is sold out.)

The time is from 5:00 p.m. on November 3 (Culture Day) until the store closes. It's a busy time before dinner, but it's a once-in-a-lifetime chance, so please come and visit us.


At the BT Fair, we will exhibit new items knitted by our staff and borrowed samples. BT threads are currently in short supply, but we will have plenty of them by then.

Following the hobby show held in GW, we decided to hold an event with knitting needle maker Tulip.

This time, it is a WS that knits a popular pattern of amirisu, the Xeni shawl published in the first issue. A bottom-up shawl that can be knitted with one skein of Fingering yarn. Have fun with hand-dyed yarn!

From amirisu, the staff in charge of beginner classes will participate as instructors. It is highly recommended for those who want to knit shawls and those who want to knit needle lace.
The course fee includes yarn, pattern, knitting needles and stitch markers. I think it's a great deal. We are waiting for you at the venue!

The Sock Summit was held earlier this year and was very well received. We borrowed a lot of socks from everyone, and we were able to display a lot of them, from rare ones to standard ones.

This time, we will hold an exhibition of shawls as an after-event for the shawl club that we recruited the other day. More than 30 items, from those knitted by Tokuko and Meri to those borrowed from everyone, will be shared.
I don't think there is a chance to see so many at once. Please come and visit us.

And we will also have new products of lace and fingering in conjunction with this. It is a wonderful product that has not yet arrived in Japan. Priority will be given to the supporters club, but after that, it will be sold at this exhibition.

WoolfolkExhibition

Woolfolk, a brand that debuted in 2014 and uses only the finest merino wool. It is a wonderful thread that is sure to make you fall in love with its texture once you touch it.

Flower season has arrived. At my house, the camellia that had been in bud since last autumn finally opened its flowers this morning. Kyoto will be in full bloom with plum blossoms, camellias, and cherry blossoms.
