Mieko by Yuki

Yuki, who designs many popular sock patterns such as Karesansui and Thomasson. This time, Parade knit short socks that are perfect for spring and summer.
amirisu: Where did you get the inspiration for this design?Yuki: I don't have much to call it inspiration, but since it's the Spring/Summer issue, I made a pattern for short, tight-fitting socks.
amirisu: If you were to knit another one, what color would it be?
Yuki: If it's a specific yarn Prade, it's either Helsinki or Dublin. Since the designation is warm colors, I would like to knit in cold colors.
amirisu: What inspired you to start knitting?
Yuki: I think I knitted for the first time when I was in elementary school, but I don't remember it at all.
I started knitting continuously after seeing Mariko Mikuni's content in Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun. How can you knit something so cute! So I went to buy a book, thread and needle.
amirisu: Please let me know if you have any recommended shops or places near your home (I dream of the days when I can travel freely).
Yuki: It's not near my house, but I like Suzumeya in Ikebukuro. Dorayaki is delicious.
