I want to knit an elegant top!
Sheer tops are all the rage, but I've always wondered what kind of tops I could incorporate into my wardrobe... Then I found the As If Tee Lite by Shay Johnson.
The designer had previously released the same pattern knit in Aran weight yarn, but I had given up on it, thinking that a short-sleeved sweater in a thicker yarn might not be wearable much of the season. But now the Fingering weight version has been released, and I thought, "This is it!
It has a transparent bust but the neckline is ribbed and tight, and it can be used for both casual and elegant occasions. Bright colors like the one in the photo are good, and black or gray would also look good. I would like to wear it for summer outings.
