The other day, I bought lace thread on impulse.

I feel happy when I look at the beautiful colors, but I want to knit something wonderful with this! Thinking so, I'm looking for a lace pattern.

The first thing that came to mind was Yuki Ueda's Banana Leaf Shawl . I've been interested in this very popular shawl, with many people knitting two or three. Absolutely cute if knitted in bright colors!

This is a shawl that Joji designed in the image of his hometown of Buenos Aires when the yarn brand Miss Babs was launching a travel-themed yarn club. It's fun to knit while imagining a distant country now that it's hard to travel.
