I want to knit Andrea's Rhinebeck sweater!
The NY Sheep & Wook Festival, commonly known as Rhinebeck, is held in the suburbs of New York every October. Every year, Andrea Mowry collaborates with Magpie Fibers and Spincycle to release new designs for this event that attracts knitters from all over the world. It looks like they will have a lot of fun wearing the sweaters they've knitted by October, gathering at festivals and taking pictures on the hills.
As soon as I see this year's sweater, I want to knit it! I thought. It looks like it would be fun to think about color combinations, and it seems like there are a lot of different techniques, which is wonderful. I have just one skein of Spincycle Dyed in the Wool , so I'm going to use that as a base to choose the color.
I've been lining up the things I want to knit for autumn in order, but once in a while, it's good to knit a seasonal sweater to follow the trend! I can't go to NY, but I would like to knit Alpenglow I with everyone in the world.
How are you all doing?
