Scholl's book, pre-orders open April 10
A book after a long time coming out!
The first book published by amirisu was "The Book of Socks". In addition to our sock club pattern, we've compiled a collection of challenging knitting patterns from popular Ravelry designers. Printed copies sold out in less than a year, and PDFs continue to sell.
Shortly after the socks book was released, the project for the shawl book was decided. However, five years have passed. In the meantime, the world of shawl knitting has evolved, and this book is the result of giving up.
16 patterns. About 1/3 of them are amirisu shawl club patterns. Some pieces were woven with threads that were no longer available, so I re-knitted almost all of them this time.
In addition, we collected some of our favorite shawl designs from Ravelry and crocheted them for this book as well.
The photography is by Masako Nakagawa, a photographer who we admire and who continues to transmit wonderful everyday life. It turned out to be a great photo. I will write about my encounter with Mr. Nakagawa on another occasion.
Pre-orders start on April 10th, and sales start on April 30th. Orders placed by 4/20 will be delivered on the day of release. (It's easy to remember, isn't it?)
