What, if any, challenges did you encounter during the design process?
The design process actually went pretty smoothly. I already had a clear vision for Mysteria, but I’d say the most challenging part was aligning the pattern repeats during the transitions between the three different sections and ensuring that each section transformed into the next one seamlessly.
If you were to knit this design in another color, what would it be?
I’d love to see the Mysteria in a rich dark green and a bright purple.
How did you start your knitting journey?
My knitting journey began with little swatches I made as a child, with help from my mother. Then, in high school, I started knitting my own garments and accessories.
What is your New Year’s resolution?
I want to complete my design collection inspired by each element and create an e-book in 2025! Two designs are done, and two more to go! I also hope to work on meaningful collaborations, connect with more people in the knitting community, and start teaching to share my knowledge of knitting and designing.
What is your favourite gardens or parks?
I really enjoy spending time in Tiergarten whenever I visit Berlin, it’s such a peaceful park. I also love Retiro Park in Madrid, where I made lots of good memories during my Erasmus days.
