Were there any challenges or things you had to work hard to come up with during the design process?
I had a very precise idea of the fabric I wanted to create with this magnificent yarn, but when I held the yarn single, it didn't turn out the way I wanted. I then unraveled everything and made a second one holding two strands, and it turned out perfect!
If you were to knit this design in another color, what would it be?
I like the graphic effect of the cowl but, if I had to knit it in another color, I would like to try a softer contrast like for example the Desert color combined with Sabbia from Myak baby Yak lace.
How did you start your knitting journey?
I started knitting 14 years ago, and my best friend helped me knit baby clothes for my first child. I have never put down my needles since!
What is your New Year’s resolution?
I don't have any resolutions for this new year because I can't follow through with them. I'm not a good example for these! I just want to enjoy the challenges that life offers me as they come.
What are your favourite gardens or parks?
My favorite garden, without hesitation, is the garden of Claude Monet's house. I visited it more than 30 years ago now, and I still remember the scent. It was a precious moment to me.
