What, if any, challenges did you encounter during the design process?
The most time and consideration were spent figuring out where to start knitting and how to shape it. By knitting in this way, I was able to minimize the parts that require seaming and binding to a minimum, and I managed to create an interesting, organic pattern that looks hand-drawn, with a different pattern on the front and back of the bag.
If you were to knit this design in another color, what would it be?
I'm drawn to pastel color combinations such as Hakka and White Rabbit, Sakura and Dandelion in amirisu Wanderlust Linen. I also think it would be nice to add Antarctica to some combination of these colors to make a three-color combination.
