この秋の大イベント！フランスの糸メーカー La bien Aiméeのオーナー、Aiméeが日本にやってきます。昨年発売になった書籍Worsted。この本に掲載されているパターンのサンプルや糸、またその他にも色々な種類の魅力的な糸を引き連れて東京店へ！
La bien Aiméeの糸といえば、とにかく美しい色が印象的。少し揺らぎのある単色は赤茶色や黄色、ピンクなどどれもうっとりするような色合いですし、何色もの色が混じり合うカセは1つ1つ欲しくなってしまいます。華やかだけれど派手すぎず、何を編んでもすんなり馴染んでしまうような色が揃っているのです。
糸のベースにもこだわりがあり、しっとりと編みやすいスーパーウォッシュも、微かに羊の匂いが残っているようなカサっとした糸も、どれも編んでみると素晴らしいものばかりです。
ここ1年、Aiméeが世界中の毛糸屋でイベントをしているのを見る度に、日本にも来てくれたら良いのにーと羨ましく思っていたので、今回私も本当に嬉しいです。
センスの良いAiméeに糸選びをしてもらったり、サンプルを着させてもらったり...と考えるだけでもウキウキしてきます。この秋はLa bien Aiméeフェスティバルです！皆さんもお楽しみに。

We are beyond excited to welcome Aimée of La bien Aimée to Walnut Tokyo this November! Aimée will be bringing all the samples from her book Worsted and lots of beautiful handdyed yarns, too.
La bien Aimée yarns are known for their stunning colors. The incredible depth in the semi-solid colors and the crisp, fun speckled colors are gorgeous without being too flashy, and when knit up, they go well with everything in your wardrobe. We just can't get enough of their yarns!
