What, if any, challenges did you encounter during the design process?
I focused on making sure that, no matter which size is knitted, the focal point would appear with the same kind of impression.
If you were to knit this design in another color, what would it be?
Dark brown and white.
Darker colors would likely highlight the motif, which has many crossings, and classic cable-knit colors could make the combination of the motif and brioche feel fresh.
What made you decide to become a designer?
I wanted to share feelings like comfort and beauty — the sensations that move the heart — with someone else.
Among the patterns you have designed so far, which one do you like the most?
Foggy Sweater and Column.
At first glance they are basic-shaped sweaters, but when knitting them there are moments that lift your spirits and make you excited, and when worn, they have a unique quality that brings out the wearer’s style.
Being able to want to wear your own hand-knitted sweater every day is something wonderful, isn’t it?
