This sock weight yarn from Retrosaria Rosa Pomar in Portugal is named after a village in Portugal that was once famous for sock knitting, Mondim.
Non-superwash and 100% Portuguese wool, this yarn has a strong twist and a smooth hand making it perfect for socks as well as shawls and garments.
With bright colors, undyed neutrals, and variegated "nuance" colorways, there are a myriad of ways to combine colors for your next project. We particularly recommend coordinating a nuance shade together with a solid color for stripes or even stranded colorwork. (See our example images with sets of 3 skeins for ideas.)
