Niemi is a garter and lace striped shawl worked in soft fingering weight yarn. The pattern is easy to remember and unfussy, combined with the solid color, the simple triangle shape, and fun hem shape, it meets all the requirements for a shawl that is both easy to knit and to wear.
Knit with amirisu Sock Weight Hand-dyed. It is twisty and easy to knit, and the pattern comes out clearly. It is refreshing to the touch.
Knit from the bottom up. Knit in pattern while decrease both sides of the two triangles that form the shawl's shape.
