Leaf Pie Kit (with both Japanese and English patterns)

Leaf Pie is a vest worked with DARUMA GENMOU.

I wanted to create something loose-fitting, so this design includes lots of ease and deep armholes. Larger projects can become heavy, but worked in GENMOU, Leaf Pie is lightweight and warm.

I recommend wearing it with a collared shirt or with a turtleneck on really cold days.

I included some shaping to make the back a little longer than the front. If you'd like to lengthen your vest (instructions are included in the pattern!), please purchase an extra ball.

Front and Back are knitted separately using short rows to create a curved hem. After seaming shoulders and sides, collar and armhole ribbing are worked directly from body.
