AND WOOL

From AND WOOL, we have received the yarn "No.30 Japan wool yarn 2/7" using rare domestic wool.

The "Japan Wool Project" that AND WOOL is involved in, featured in amirisu issue 25. This "No.30 Japan Wool Yarn 2/7" was made as part of a project to revive domestic wool, which has become difficult to make these days.

Wool collected from sheep farms mainly in Hokkaido, washed at a dyeing factory in Aichi Prefecture, and spun in Osaka Prefecture is truly a Japanese wool yarn. Domestic wool is characterized by its firmness and elasticity. Blended with 70% Australian merino wool, it is easy to knit and has a texture that makes it easy to make items such as sweaters.
