These are soft, tube-type stitch holders.
When you want to rest stitches, such as on sleeves, simply insert the needle tip firmly into the cord and slide the knitting to easily transfer the stitches to the cord.
You can secure them with the included stoppers, or tie them in a knot.

When transferring stitches, be careful not to pull too hard.
It's easier to transfer stitches smoothly if you first switch to a needle tip that is smaller than the needle you were actually using.
