This New Year I designed another vest.
Vests are very convenient for spending time at home, but recently it has become increasingly difficult for me to wear tight-necked vests. So I made this vest with an open neck and an open front. And because I know that picking up stitches on the placket and armholes can be a pain, I have devised various knitting methods to create a vest with almost no picking up stitches.
This is great for housework and going out. I also wanted men to wear it, so I made it look smart.
And a pocket! It's really handy to have one. I put my reading glasses in it. I hope anyone, regardless of gender, will try this. by Tokuko
Knit from the bottom up. Knit the placket and armholes together with the body, then knit the back neckline after removing the shoulders.
