Arborea is a semi-circular shawl featuring lace and mesh patterns, depicting the plant cycle from bud to flower and fruit.
This shawl has an unusual and curious shape.
It's written to be knitted with three wedges to create a deep crescent shape, but you can also make it a semi-circle with two wedges. You can also adjust the volume by repeating the border pattern or increasing/decreasing the number of chart repeats, making it suitable for advanced knitters who are tired of simply following patterns.
Cycle Lace Handdyed is a yarn containing 20% bamboo. With 80% wool content, it creates a knitted fabric that is both airy and wonderfully soft. It holds its shape well, making it an excellent choice for lace shawls.
