Knit vent
Australian designer Helen Stewart is known for her lovely shawl and sock patterns. Every year at this time, she presents a collection called Knitvent , where a new design is announced once a week from the end of October to the end of November. It feels like a knitting pattern version of an advent calendar.
This is the 8th year of this collection, and it consists of 5 to 6 patterns every year, such as mittens, hats, shawls, knee covers, and cushion covers. There is no sense of being pressed for time like MKAL, and it is a relaxed item that everyone can enjoy knitting and welcome Christmas. Recently, a pattern that uses a mini-case from an advent calendar is also popular.
The first pattern of the collection will be released today! I'm looking forward to it! This year, I would like to prepare gifts with plenty of time to spare and spend December peacefully.
