When I calmed down a little and looked into it, it seems that the pattern is made with mosaic knitting. In the past, I had a bitter experience when the threads got tangled in mosaic knitting and I couldn't finish the work... But this pattern seems to have a detailed explanation, and it's always fun to try new techniques.
It's cute to weave flowers with hand-dyed threads that are slightly grainy in a neutral main color like the sample, or two distinct colors like black and white would be nice. Also, although the designated thread is DK, there were some that used Spincycle Dyed in the Wool as a contrast color.
