At our WALNUT Kyoto and WALNUT Tokyo shops we have decided to charge for shopping bags from June 11, 2024.
Until now, we have provided paper shopping bags free of charge to customers who purchased a product, but we will end this free distribution in order to reduce the amount of bags used and the environmental impact.
[Start date] Paid service will start on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 [Price] 22 yen (tax included) per bag (flat rate for all sizes)
We would appreciate it if you could bring your own shopping bag when you visit our store.
We also sell bags and furoshiki (wrapping cloths) in store that you can use as an alternative to your own bags, so please take a look.
