Knit Pop Fair

・Display of sample published in the book
・Exhibition of samples knitted with amirisu . Miki came up with the yarn and color combinations. Look forward to it!

*During the fair, the yarn set will only be sold in-store. Please note that it will not be sold online.
・Special merchandise on sale (planned)
To celebrate the release of Knit Pop, we will be selling merchandise such as Miki's original project bags with a special logo! Look forward to it!

This may be Miki's first time at WALNUT Kyoto. If you live in the Kansai area, this is a great opportunity to come and see her.

Knit Pop Event
WALNUT Kyoto
Dates: Friday, July 18th and Saturday, July 19th, 2025
*To avoid overcrowding, all events require a reservation. Anyone can visit when there are no events.

11:00-12:00 Personal shopping
13:30-15:00 Pop-up Shop with Miki
15:00-16:30 Knit Cafe
* Anyone can come in between 15:00-17:00 without making a reservation.
Saturday, July 19th
11:30-13:00 Pop-up shop with Miki
14:00-15:00 Talk session
*13:00-17:00 Anyone can come to the store without making a reservation.
About the events
There are four types of events being held this time.
①Pop-up Shop with Miki
Miki will be at the shop for the first hour. You can get autographs, take photos, and chat with her. Have a great time. We have set aside an hour and a half for the whole session, so you can take your time shopping after the autograph session.
Capacity: 20 people per session (1.5 hours per session)
Price: 550 yen
② Personal Shopping
This is an event where you can shop one-on-one with Miki. Please come and think about what you would like to knit from the works featured in Knit Pop. Miki will help you choose yarn and colors. You may discover color combinations that you would never have thought of on your own, or she may give you a push.
Four people can apply for a one-hour slot, with 15 minutes per person.
Price: 2500 yen
③Knit Cafe
Why not gather around Miki and chat while knitting? Aiko, a staff member at the Kyoto store, will also be joining us! Tea and snacks will be included.
Capacity: 10 people
Price: 1500 yen
④ Talk Session
We will hear from Miki about the creation of Knit Pop, including how the book came to be, the design process, and the challenges she faced. Meri and Tokuko will also be participating, and the talk will be streamed on YouTube on the day.
Capacity: 12 people
Price: 1100 yen
In addition, customers who participate in the above four events will receive a KNIT POP badge as a commemorative gift.
Ticket sales
Amirisu Supporters Club and Shimarisu Club members: June 13th (Friday) around 2pm
General public: Saturday, June 14th, around 2pm
*Please note that advance sales will be available to Supporters Club and Chipmunk Club members.
*Please note that there are limited slots for personal shopping, so there is a possibility that items may be sold out in the Supporters Club and Chipmunk Club.
Precautions
*There are three types of events this time, but each person can purchase one of each . In order to allow as many customers as possible to participate, it is not permitted to purchase multiple tickets for the same event.
Please note that if you purchase multiple tickets for the same event, your reservations will be automatically cancelled.
*We expect a large number of applications for this event. We are preparing and updating the system as much as possible, but if we receive too many orders, there is a possibility that some items may be out of stock even though they were listed on the system. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we will contact you (notice of cancellation) as soon as we become aware of a shortage. If you receive a cancellation notice, we would appreciate it if you would consider purchasing one of the remaining items as soon as possible.
We will post your confirmed order number on the product page so that you can confirm that your order has been placed.
