Cherry blossoms are in full bloom at the former Kyoto Municipal Seitoku Junior High School along Takatsuji Street on the road to WALNUT Kyoto. This cherry blossom is an early blooming cherry blossom. It is a flowering cherry tree that was planted to send junior high school graduates in full bloom. Compared to Someiyoshino, it has a stronger pink color, and the buds and flowers are plump and round, making it cute. If you are planning to visit WALNUT Kyoto in the near future, please come along Takatsuji Street and enjoy the cherry blossoms.
It is around this time that spring has come, but the WALNUT fair in March will feature knitting. Oh, I know it's too late now that everyone's eyes are on linen thread. Due to various circumstances, the introduction has been delayed.
But, it's really cute, so the fair will be held as it is.
We will be exhibiting samples borrowed from stylish braid master Dianna Walla. We also sell kits with Japanese patterns.

Dianna Walla is a knit designer living in Norway.
Her works have also been released in the Quince & Co. collection, so I'm sure everyone has seen her designs at least once. Recently, the knit series of Harry Potter has attracted attention. 
She is also interested in making sweets, and on her blog, she introduces baking recipes with beautiful photos she took herself.
Knitting, making sweets, photography and traveling. Dianna's knitwear, which values the enjoyment of life, has many smart designs that can be worn in everyday life. A braided muffler to match your coat, a poncho to wear when you go for a walk in the park, and mittens to match with your friends. When I imagine that I have this beautiful knit with vibrant colors in my life, I suddenly feel like knitting.
There are not many opportunities to see samples by designers.
