So many reasons to love Autumn!
The cooling temperatures that suddenly call for warming knits, the ripening fruits on the trees, that certain urge of getting cozy at home, enjoying things which make you feel good.
I love traditions, and one of my very favorite ones is to embrace the new season by making an apple cake, using freshly harvested apples. No matter how exhaustingly hot and busy my summer has been, simple as it is, making that first apple cake of the season is like taking a long, deep breath, calming down and getting ready for the remaining months of the year.
