I receive such messages from plants every day. I have a large Everfresh tree in my atelier in Okayama City. Many people love it as a symbolic tree, and it is 3 to 4 meters wide at its widest. It was my pride and joy. It is sad to write in the past tense like this.
Since winter, the clouds have been growing thicker and thicker, and the leaves were all drooping down. I may have been in a hurry to give it too much water and fertilizer, which was probably a bad idea. Maybe I pruned it at the wrong time.
I feel that a large plant's lack of energy is like a dog that lies down all day. It makes me sad, and I feel sick to my stomach. The tree was so full of life.
Eva's health never returned and gradually lost his strength, and finally, in this heat wave, he lost all of his leaves. He (Eva) was just a dead tree. He was stripped to the bone. It was a miserable sight to see. I touched the trunk. I like plants, but I don’t have a “green thumb” nor any psychic powers, so I didn’t understand what he is trying to say. Unlike animals, trees don't have a fever, and I couldn’t communicate with him, so I honestly didn’t know what’s happening.
But I decided that he was alive.
I decided when I would give him water and how much, and I watered him regularly and properly. I exposed him to the sun and the wind. And I talked to him and touched him. I didn’t know if this is the right approach, but one day he came back to life. I found a healthy sprout at the end of a branch and just shouted.
Welcome back!
I knew you were alive!
The shoots were taller than I was. I was impressed by his power to absorb water so quickly.
From then on, the leaves grew rapidly, and the shoots also increased quickly. Of course, compared to the volume at its peak, it is still as small as if it were a different person. But I am encouraged by the strength of this life.
Yes, we can always start over again.
Even if it all doesn't work out, we can keep starting over and over again,
