"It would be so cute if I knit it with the fluffy Flutter..." As expected by Nakacho-san, the result was a light and cute dickey. It can be knitted with two skeins of Flutter.
In winter, you want to wear it under your coat to keep your neck and shoulders warm. It would be a shame if it was heavy, but this is very light and can be used without stress. The pistachio stitch pattern has a plump, three-dimensional look when knitted with the specified yarn amirisu Sprint, but with Flutter it has a soft look.
Flutter is an original amirisu yarn that was released in the fall of two years ago, and is made by wrapping baby suri alpaca around a merino and silk core. There are still few patterns and projects knitted with Flutter, but the possibilities are endless as it can be knitted in a variety of gauges depending on the needle.
So, this is our recommended yarn for this winter.
Recently, in addition to the standard colors, many lovely hand-dyed colors have been released. The one I'm interested in is the Scorpio's Love 🦂🧡 from amirisu Handdyed Zodiac Collection . Isn't this color just too cute? I'm not a Scorpio, but I want it. I'm excited to knit a Lanka with it and coordinate it with a shirt and denim.
Here are some things to keep in mind when knitting Lanka with Flutter.
・The gauge tends to be loose. (Nakacho-san's one ended up a little large.) ・The ribbing also tends to come loose. You may use the lower size needle on the ribbing.
If you want to finish it to the correct size, check the gauge before you start knitting and adjust your needles.
