Norah's imagination and approach to knitwear design awestruck me once again. Sequel to her previous book on designing cable patterns, this book brings light to her incredible design method - deciphering how she combines and fold shapes to make knit garments. If you are a knitwear designer, Knit Fold Pleat Repeat should give you dozens of new ideas and enrich your design vocabulary. If you are a knitter who just want to focus on the act itself, this book contains 36 patterns that enlighten you with new techniques and innovative structures.

Selected as one of the most beautiful books published in Finland in 2021, this book, curated by the owner of La Bien Aimée, contains 14 knitwear patterns designed in their recently-released yarn, Corrie Worsted. Some introductory and some very advanced, all the samples are designed and styled with great care, and the color choices are superb. It's currently available in French and English, and Japanese and Korean versions will soon be released. It became one of the knitting books I want to keep in my living room bookcase and flip through from time to time.

This beautiful book published from Liberty showcases the company's expansive textile collection encompasses almost three centuries, as well as its history and impact on fashion and design over 150 years since establishment. When you hear "Liberty prints" you usually think of small floral patterns printed on smooth cotton fabric, but they in fact have all kinds of patterns, yet somehow maintain the Liberty look. It's an inspiring book for graphic designers and crafters, and I learned a lot as a business owner, too.

<Title: Ms. Fluffy Owns A Yarn Shop>

Bookish by amirisu

It's a Japanese children book that I actually found on Rosa's Instagram Stories. It's a cute, very bizaar, and strangely familiar story about a yarn shop owner by a Japanese copper-engraving artist. If you collect children books about knitting like I do, it'll be a great addition to your bookcase!
