Koala Vest is a wide-fitting vest designed to be worn over outerwear. We have prepared a kit with amirisu Waltz yarn.
This is the kit for the shorter Koala Vest. We also have kits for the longer Koala Long available.
Although the designed stitch is all over the piece, it doesn't use any difficult techniques, so you should be able to knit it rhythmically.
The pattern is designed with a snap button at the very top, but you can also make it with buttonholes and regular buttons. Using your favorite buttons is also a good idea.
The entire garment is knitted using the bubble stitch. The back piece is knitted top-down, then the shoulders are picked up and the right and left front pieces are knitted. The side seams are closed with a mattress stitch. Finally, the reverse side of the front facing is reinforced and snap buttons are attached to complete the garment.
