The Koala Long is a vest designed with a wide body to be worn over outerwear. We have prepared a kit with amirisu Waltz yarn.
This is the kit for the longer version, Koala Long. We also have kits for the shorter Koala Vest available.
Although the designed stitch is all over the piece, it doesn't use any difficult techniques, so you should be able to knit it rhythmically. You can enjoy 2-way styling by optionally knitting a belt for the waist mark.
The pattern is designed with a snap button at the very top, but you can also make it with buttonholes and regular buttons. Using your favorite buttons is also a good idea.
The entire garment is knitted using the bubble stitch. The back piece is knitted top-down, then the shoulder seams are picked up and the right and left front pieces are knitted. The side seams are sewn closed with a tapestry needle. Finally, the reverse side of the front facing is reinforced and snap buttons are attached to complete the garment.
