This cowl is perfect for the spring equinox, when it's warm during the day but still chilly in the mornings and evenings. The lace motif creates two pairs of arrows, one facing west and one facing east, as if to indicate the division between day and night, which are almost equal in length at the spring equinox. It's simple and compact, so it can be used in a variety of situations and with any outfit.
Knit in the round. Make a cast-on and knit the set-up loop, then knit the lace chart repeatedly and bind it off.
