Why not enjoy a movie while knitting at the cinema?
The fourth amirisu Movie & Knit event will screen Wes Anderson's Moonrise Kingdom.
This screening celebrates the release of amirisu Assemblage Vol.3. The designs featured in Assemblage Vol.3 were inspired by the atmosphere of Wes Anderson's films, and all the pattern names are taken from characters in the movie.
Moonrise Kingdom is a colorful and charming film about a boy and a girl who set out on an adventure one summer.
Set on a small island off the East Coast of the United States in the 1960s, Boy Scout Sam and the eccentric Suzy go on a romantic elopement. Join the excitement as they involve the adults looking for them and their fellow scouts, turning the entire island upside down.
The lights will be slightly brighter so you can enjoy knitting during the screening, so please bring along any projects you're currently working on. You might also enjoy knitting the Boy Scout scarf featured in Assemblage while watching Sam! Of course, you're also more than welcome to set aside your knitting and fully immerse yourself in the movie.
