Knit on the bias, Skew is a very popular pattern that has stimulated the curiosity of many knitters since its release in 2009. Designer Lana Holden has two degrees in mathematics, and she used algebraic geometry quite a bit for this design. However, if you are a knitter, you don't have to be good at math. There are some parts that are a little difficult, but if you count your stitches and follow the instructions, you will succeed! The heel that is made without short rows and you'll be amazed to see it come together for the first time.
For this kit, we prepared special hand-dyed skeins of our Trek and Sock Weight bases. Especially if you knit Skew with elastic Trek, it should be a sock with excellent fit.
We love Skew, so we made some original stitch markers, too. Striped on the diagonal just like Skew.
