Wave Breaker is a triangular shawl that features a different look on the front and back.
The lines of brioche stitch on the front represent the endless ripples of the sea water, while the texture on the back represents the crashing waves and the harshness of nature. Both sides are beautifully reversible.
Knit with amirisu Parade Hand-dyed for a light and refreshing shawl that can be used for many seasons. The subtle hand-dyed fluctuations in color and depth are perfect for expressing waves.
Knit on the bias. Start knitting from the right corner and form a triangle by increasing at the beginning of the row. The main body of the shawl is knitted with brioche using two colors, and diagonal lines are created by increasing and decreasing the stitches. To finish off, work a garter stitch border and end with an I-cord Bind Off.
