October Bulky Sweater
A classic bulky sweater that lets you enjoy the swift, satisfying rhythm of knitting with thick needles. Combining two distinct yarns with Woven Stitch creates depth and character. Sample 1 pairs light yarns, Flutter and Sprint, for a soft, airy look that works well from autumn through spring.
The sleeves are designed with optional short rows and shaping, allowing you to tailor the silhouette to your liking—whether comfortably oversized or neatly fitted. Through your choice of color and size, each sweater slowly takes on its own personal character.
A sweater worked seamlessly from the top down, holding two strands of yarn together
throughout. Back is worked first by increasing stitches. Stitches for each shoulder are then picked up and shoulders are shaped with decreases and neckline is shaped with increases. Two front pieces are joined at the center front and worked to the underarm. After front and back is joined, body is worked in the round to hem. Sleeves are picked up around the armholes and worked in the round. Finally, stitches are picked up around neckline and worked in ribbing.
