A raglan bolero that feels like a detachable sleeve accessory rather than a garment. The voluminous sleeves add a dramatic twist to any outfit. It can even be worn on both sides if the finishing is done carefully. The increases on the sleeves that branch out were inspired by the evolution of trees, making the brioche knitting both rhythmic and fun.
This is a bolero worked from the top down. Worked flat using two-color brioche, the piece begins with increases for the sleeves and back raglan. The sleeves are then worked in the round. Stitches are picked up along the neckline, armholes, and hem, and finished with an I-Cord Bind Off.
