A soft and cozy drop sleeve cardigan. Triangular brioche motifs appear on the front, sleeves, and center back, puffing up like whipped cream on a cupcake. The cardigan can be worn reversible with careful finishing. It is ideal for both lounging at home and going out.
This cardigan is worked from the top down, from the collar to the hem. The back is worked flat from the collar to the underarms with increasing stitches and put on hold. Then, the right front stitches are picked up from the CO edge in the back and worked to the underarm, and the right front stitches are put on hold. The left front stitches are picked up and worked to the underarm as for the right front stitches. Then, the front and the back are joined and worked to the hem, and the stitches are put on hold. The front band stitches are picked up and worked in Rib pattern. Then, BO with I-cord bind off method across the front band stitches and held hem stitches. The sleeve stitches are picked up from the body and worked in the round to the cuff.
