What, if any, challenges did you encounter during the design process?
This design came to me quickly but the challenge was more in making sure the placement of the lacing looked great across sizes.
If you were to knit this design in another color, what would it be?
I wanted to keep the sample very feminine for the garden theme but if I were to knit one for me, I think I would want to see a deep olive green version with khaki + mustard laces.
How did you start your knitting journey?
My grandmother taught me how to knit when I was very young but I did not fully understand the potential of knitting until college. I love all of things you can do with just a few actions. Its endlessly inspiring and interesting to explore.
What is your New Year’s resolution?
This is crazy, but I do not think I have ever knit a yoke sweater. My knitting new year's resolution is to try that. Also maybe steeking?
What are your favourite gardens or parks?
I have a small cabin in the mountains in NY and a short walk away there is a giant field that in August is full of wild flowers and goldenrod. I absolutely love walking around the field.
