Let's check in with the designer of Linii, Bérangère Cailliau. The placement of the accent lines on Linii bring a stylish and sporty touch to this understated pullover. The open neckline and subtle puff sleeves make this a design simple enough for everyday while still incorporating some fun details.
amirisu:What was your inspiration for this design?
Bérangère: For this design, I wanted a mixed sweater, easy to wear and to personalize with its touch of color.
amirisu:What, if any, challenges did you encounter during the design process?Bérangère:None
amirisu: If you were to knit this design in another color, what would it be?Bérangère:I would like to knit it in grey with a touch of Klein blue
amirisu: How did you start your knitting journey? Bérangère: My mom used to knit a lot so naturally she taught me the basics of knitting. After a few years off, I started knitting again when my children were born and then I discovered Ravelry and its wonders! I learned new techniques, I discovered new yarns and then I wanted to create my own shawls. I then had the chance to collaborate with many wool brands and to put my creativity into knits.
amirisu: Do you have a favorite museum or work of art? Please tell us a little about it. Bérangère: I really like abstract art, using colors and geometric lines like Delaunay, Mondrian and Kandinsky.
