Any yarn from Light Fingering to DK can be used, solid color, hand-dyed or spun. Isn't it cute to knit with a large collection of leftover threads at home?
It's a shawl that repeats brioche and half fisherman's ribs, so I think it's perfect for leisurely knitting while traveling, even if your family is around during summer vacation.
I want to knit with thin thread and aim for a small size, so I have to collect threads!
