Knit City 2019

08:55 Meri: The typhoon has passed, but are you all safe?

08:55 Meri: I'm saddened by the amount of damage I've seen on TV.

08:56 Tokuko: It didn't rain that much here.

08:57 Tokuko: I just hope the typhoon won't come again.

08:57 Meri: It rained a lot in Kyoto, but the wind wasn't too bad. Compared to last year's typhoon.

08:57 Meri: Really. When I think of the effects of global warming, I can't help but look back on my life.

08:58 Tokuko: We have no choice but to do what we can all do, little by little.

08:59 Meri: It's us on sick earth.

08:59 Tokuko: Before the typhoon hit, we went to a yarn event in Canada.

09:00 Meri: A festival in Vancouver called Knit City.

09:00 Meri: The number of participants has suddenly increased since last year.

09:01 Tokuko: Many famous designers also came. I finally got to meet Andrea.

09:01 Meri: So cute! The real thing was 50% more cute

09:01 Meri: It feels like meeting an idol

09:01 Tokuko: Just as I thought, she was full of cute and good person aura.

09:02 Tokuko: Sparkling!

09:02 Meri: Really!

09:02 Meri: Our job is to meet people, so we spent the whole day chatting around the booths.

09:03 Tokuko: You must have seen amirisu's Instagram.

09:03 Tokuko: Of course, I also bought a lot of thread.

09:04 Meri: I found new yarn, and bought new yarn from the manufacturer I always stock.

09:05 Tokuko: There was an atmosphere of excitement in Canada as well.

09:06 Meri: I want to open a store next year

09:06 Tokuko: Oh yeah. I like Canada, so I want to go again. The people were nice, the food was delicious, it was close, and the airport was good.

09:07 Meri: I want to do more sightseeing next time.

09:07 Meri: Exciting.
