The May design for amirisu Sock Club 2024 is Naname, designed by Keiko Kikuno.

"Naname" is Japanese for "diagonal" and as the name suggests, these socks have a refreshing design with bias knitting from the toe to the heel. Any knitter will be excited and curious know know how these socks are knitted. According to Keiko, she paid homage to the popular Skew Socks, but she wanted to use a different approach for the heel, which is one of the characteristics of Skew. There are events to knit one after the other, so you should enjoy knitting until the very end.

The allover ribbing provides an excellent fit. The kit is available at amirisu Cycle Handdyed. The 20% bamboo blend is refreshing to the touch, has a subtle sheen, and the diagonal stitching stands out.

Knit on the bias from the toe. Knit the heel with short rows.

Sale period: Until May 31, 2024
