October Bulky Sweater
This is a classic bulky sweater that allows you to enjoy the comfort of knitting quickly with large needles.
By combining two different types of yarn in a Woven Stitch, you can achieve a look with depth.
Sample 2 is knit with the more voluminous Waltz and Drift, resulting in a finish with a winter-appropriate presence.
The sleeves are designed so you can choose whether or not to include short rows or decreases, allowing you to adjust the silhouette to your preference. It looks great worn oversized and relaxed, or finished in a more compact, streamlined size.
This sweater is knit top-down and seamless, holding two strands of yarn together. You begin by knitting the back while increasing at both shoulders. You then pick up stitches from each shoulder, shape the shoulders with decreases, form the neckline with increases, join both front pieces at the center, and knit down to the underarms. Join the body at the underarms and knit in the round to the hem. Pick up stitches from the body to knit the sleeves in the round. Finally, knit the neckband ribbing in the round.
