LULU is a refreshing shawl with a beautifully ruffled, wavy edge.
Designer Romi created it, recalling the lace dickey made by her grandmother, who taught her to knit. The delicate stitch pattern is expressed with knitting needles, based on the patterns her grandmother often crocheted with a lace hook.
The long, narrow shape is easy to use. No matter how you wrap it, it will naturally drape. The ends of the shawl curl beautifully, adding an elegant touch. Knit with twisted amirisu Trek, it's easy to knit, and the stitch patterns come out beautifully. It feels smooth against the skin and will be a perfect summer neck accessory.
The body is knitted sideways, and ruffles are knitted by picking up stitches from the garter ridges.
