Ashby is a great long-selling pattern among BT patterns. I have both Tokuko and Meri knitted.
I knit the edges first, then pick up the stitches and reduce the number of stitches.
It's a large shawl, so you can wrap it around your coat in winter. I, Tokuko, have it at my office, and it is very useful for hanging on my lap and going out to that place.
