The Owl kit I introduced the other day.
This was a children's line, but it was so mature and lovely that I wondered if I could knit it in an adult size.
Designer Helga also knitted an Owl for her daughter Ingrid, and she wanted something of her own and made this Swan.
Like Owl, the bias pattern on the body and box pleat sleeves Elegant and classic. It looks very feminine when an adult woman wears it. It looks like it's going to be a convenient one to wear for going out and office work.
Knit with ISAGER ECO BABY released last year. It's thick, so it's easy to knit, and I'm happy that it's light. A blend of baby alpaca and organic pima cotton for a soft and smooth feel. Recommended for those who don't like wool.
Knit in a circle from the bottom up. Knit the body and sleeves separately and dock them at the armholes. Knit the yoke while reducing the stitches along the raglan line.
The neckline is turned down, the shoulders are shaped by knitting inside out, and box pleats are added to the cuffs to finish the sleeves. After that, the front and back bodies are knitted separately, and finally the sleeves and body are closed together.
