Shophouse is a summer sweater with a bold cable pattern on the front.
The back has a fine mosaic lace pattern, and the contrast is also impressive, making it a memorable piece for this summer.
The design was inspired by the shophouse decoration, a traditional Singaporean architectural style. Two patterns with quite different atmospheres are neatly organized conceptually. As a knitter, I am happy to be able to knit two different patterns.
Since it is knitted with amirisu Parade, both cable and lace patterns are beautifully produced. The texture is also refreshing, and it seems that you can wear it for a long time until the hot summer.
Knit the back collar with the Crochet Provisional Cast-On first, then continue top down to the hem. Knit back and forth to form the back body and shoulders. Knit the front body with the stitches of the back collar, the rested stitches, and the stitches picked up from the shoulder stitches of the back body. After knitting up to the armpits, connect the front and back bodies and knit in a loop to the hem. Knit the sleeves by picking up the eyes from the armhole.
