Knit season is finally here. What I want to knit this winter is a rough cable pattern sweater. However, I thought that knitting with too thick thread would get in the way of my work and housework.
That's when I found Wayne. The designer is Sari Nordlund living in Finland. You can see his work in the Woolfolk collection and Pom Pom Quarterly, and his profile says, "I love cable knitting."
It's not the total cable that I had envisioned, but by combining it with the pique weave, it gives a light impression, and the light beige thread with a little grain and the double-folded neckline and cuffs are all really nice! I would like to start knitting as soon as I find the perfect yarn.
