Kamon is a long scarf with beautiful flowing lines and smocking patterns.
The smocking pattern, inspired by the light and shadow created by folding paper, accentuates the monotonous large scarf. One of the smocked ends is a loop, so you can enjoy various ways to wrap the scarf through it.

Knit in a reciprocating stitch. Knit while widening from the bottom edge, and create an I-cord edge with slip stitches on both ends. The loop part is knitted with knitting while inserting another thread as a guide for the smocking position, then fold it in half to make a loop and attach it to the main scarf. Finally, smocking is applied to the loop part using a binding needle.
