amirisu Mystery KAL Pattern Only
$11.00
amirisu is holding our third annual Mystery KAL in September!
amirisu's MKAL is shawl knit-along (abbreviated KAL).
In a Mystery Knit Along (known as a Mystery KAL or MKAL), participants knit a shawl section by section without knowing what the finished design will be. A new section of the pattern (a "clue") is revealed each week. Completing each clue brings participants one step closer to finishing the shawl and revealing the complete design.
This year's amirisu Mystery KAL is inspired by Cologne Cathedral. Meri and Tokuko visited the cathedral during their trip to Germany earlier this year, and as they read about the history of the cathedral and experienced walking in the grand space they were inspired to make it the theme of this year's mystery KAL.
Each installment of the pattern begins with a detail about the cathedral and Tokuko's experience there that informs that section of the shawl.
This product page is for the PDF pattern only. A set with the pattern and limited goods is also available.
Also, as a special offering during the MKAL period, our MKAL patterns from previous years are now available for purchase, too! The amirisu MKAL patterns are only available directly from amirisu, if you missed the previous year's mystery KAL you can purchase the complete patterns below.
