Shangdrok is a craft material manufacturer in Taiwan operated by April Tang and its partners. We handle a wide range of hand-dyed and hand-spun yarns, as well as yarns made from natural materials.
April met Tibetan nomads and was fascinated by the beauty of their handicrafts and their traditional culture, which is the beginning of the brand. Together with Tibetan female craftsmen, we continue to make high-quality products with consideration for the environment and human rights.
The SilkyYak that arrived this time is a truly luxurious yarn that is a blend of yak and silk. The softness of yak and the luster of silk, combined with the beautiful hand-dyed colors, make this yarn special.
It is smooth to the touch, soft and light. It has a beautiful drape and is recommended for knitting wear and shawls.
